Adventure sports enthusiasts can now put their nerve and skill to the test on Milton Keynes' only Climbing Wall - the Ellis Brigham operated Vertical Chill Climbing Wall at Xscape, Milton Keynes.

Two massive towers (Twin Freeform by Entre-Prises) offer over 43 ft (13 metres) of vertical ascent. The wall's many different grades of terrain are designed to suit all abilities from novice to expert. New for 2005 the 13 foot high bouldering wall allows individuals to hone their skills and develop technique before graduating onto higher crags.

Vertical Chill Climbing Sessions
30 minutes of climbing, inclusive of coaching and equipment hire. Adults - £10 Children - £8

1 Hour coaching / Refresher Course
1 hour one-to-one session designed to introduce a climber to the wall, working on refreshing belaying, bouldering and safety skills. Price includes a membership assessment, Price - £25

2 Hour coaching
Two 1 hour sessions, designed to teach an aspiring climber to belay. Safety skills and bouldering techniques are integrated into the course. Price includes a membership assessment. Price - £40

Adult Coaching and Young Adult Coaching
Four 1 hour sessions, designed to introduce a novice climber into the sport. This course will teach belaying, bouldering, climbing techniques and safety aspects. Price includes membership assessment. Price - £65

Kids Club Level 1
6 week course, designed for the young climbing enthusiast. This course will teach belaying, bouldering, climbing techniques, tying climbing knots and safety aspects. Completion of the course will allow the participant to become a child member – climbing at a discounted rate. Price - £70

Kids Club Level 2
After completion of Kids Club Level 1, participants can come along to Kids Club Level 2 evenings. These are designated nights where the children can carry on improving their skills. Price - £5 per session

Climbing Club Membership
After completing a climbing assessment, members can climb anytime any day at a discounted rate. There are also special member-only late nights on Tuesday and Thursdays. Price: Assessment - £5 Mon-Fri - £5 all day Sat-Sun - £5 per 30 min session

Birthday Parties
Package A - Pay for 7 and get the 8th Free! Price: Children £56 Adults £70 Package B - This package applies to any group size, and includes a gift for the birthday child and certificates for all climbers. Price varies for group size, but for 8 children £64 Package C - 1 hour of climbing fun and games! Package applies to a group of up to 10 children and includes a gift for the birthday child and certificates for all climbers. Price: £150
